1931. The year we began keeping you on the road – not in the shop. Originally a salvage business, Goodale Auto – Truck Parts Co. has been family-owned since being founded by James Nelson Miller. And yes – our first shop was on Goodale Street.
In 1974, the Miller family sold the company to C. Ray Burkhart, and the third generation of the Burkhart family continues to operate the business today. The Millers didn’t, however, stop being involved in Goodale. In fact, a Miller family member just retired from our Inventory Department.

Today we are the region’s undisputed transmission, differential, and drivetrain specialists. We have:
- 70,000 square foot facility featuring 18 full service bays;
- Professionally trained staff of over 35 people that average 19 years of experience with Goodale;
- Drivetrain service for all makes and models;
- Complete inventory of new drivetrain parts;
- Extensive inventory of new and remanufactured transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases;
- Custom rebuilding services;
- Complete driveline and driveshaft service and repair;
- PTO, pump, and wetline parts, installation and service;
- A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for over 50 years.
